Who is The Lady Physio? and Why did she Create This Course?
Meet Chloe
I'm Chloe — women’s health physio, curious traveller, and baking enthusiast. I’m also someone who knows how confusing, confronting, and unsupported pregnancy can feel when it comes to your pelvic floor.
I started The Lady Physio because I saw too many women — friends, clients, and even strangers — go through traumatic births without ever being taught how to prepare their bodies. It broke my heart to watch them struggle with leaking, prolapse, pain with sex, and fear that it was “just how things are.”
But it doesn’t have to be this way. These things are not normal. And they are preventable.
I created this course to change the story — with simple, evidence-based tools that give women the confidence, strength, and support they deserve for birth and recovery. Because every woman deserves access to pelvic floor care that’s empowering, not intimidating.

This course aims to cut through the jargon and explain things in terms you can easily understand, as well as explains basic birth physiology to allow the rest of the course to be applicable to your individual knowledge.
You do not require any prior birth knowledge, however if you feel that you are just starting your birth education journey, this course is perfect for you but the Q&A sessions are another way to get your questions about the course clarified and may be a great addition for you.
-
This course is not individual health or medical advice, and your circumstances may not apply, so we always advise you to take this knowledge and discuss it with your healthcare team.
This course will give you the knowledge to be able to question the information you are given and work out how it may affect you in your birth.
-
This course is suitable to anyone who is pregnant, or even preparing for pregnancy. The earlier you start, the earlier you can get working on all of the tools throughout your pregnancy. You have 9 months access so you can use it up to the end of your pregnancy.
However, anywhere up to 36 weeks is appropriate to start, when you are starting to think about your birth preparation and planning -and the techniques in the course can all be implemented as you go along. You can then also access the recovery lesson's after birth.
I am 36 weeks! Is it too late? It is never too late to start the education, and you can start implementing the techniques straight away to provide as much benefit in the last weeks of pregnancy as possible - it will still be a great addition to your labour preparation.
-
The course is self-paced, so you can complete it at your own speed. On average, it takes about 10-15 weeks to finish, but you can take longer if needed or do lots at once while on maternity leave at the end of your pregnancy.
-
The course may require basic equipment such as a yoga mat and exercise ball to get the most out of it, and has recommended products throughout that may enhance your pregnancy experience and recovery. A list of recommended materials will be provided upon enrolment. You will need access to internet and a device to watch on.
-
This course is suitable for most pregnant individuals. However, if you have any specific medical conditions or concerns, it is recommended to consult with your healthcare provider before enrolling.
-
